Police Arrests Male Exam-Taker After Refusing to Leave Toilet in Japan Due to Disqualification

The police authorities arrest a male exam-taker after refusing to leave a toiler cubicle in Japan during university’s entrance exams.

On Tuesday (January 19, 2021), the police reported that a 49-year-old man locked himself in the cubicle at the test venue in Tokyo after he was disqualified during Japan’s standardized university entrance exams.

The man was disqualified after failing to cover his nose with a face mask although he already received multiple warnings. He refused to wear his mask correctly amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The supervisor instructed the student to cover his nose with mask as the National Center for University Entrance Examinations aims to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease. The man repeatedly refused to obey six times until he has been disqualified.

The unidentified man locked himself inside the toilet cubicle for three hours until the police officers arrested him. The cops even climbed the cubicle’s wall just to reach and arrest him.
