What will happen after the TV5 show of Maja Salvador ended?

Actress-dancer Maja Salvador is allegedly not allowed to return to ABS-CBN’s ASAP Natin ‘To after her stint in Sunday Noontime Live on TV5 ended.

For several years, Maja was under the management of Star Magic, the talent management company of the Kapamilya network. In October 2020, she shared that her decision to transfer to TV5 was not just because of herself.

Her “tatay-tatayan” in showbiz, Johnny Manahan, asked her to join him in a new show in the Kapatid network. Early this year, speculation surfaced that Maja demanded a guaranteed contract from ABS-CBN even though her former home network has not secured a franchise.

After a season, SNL, produced by Albee Benitez’s Brightlight Productions, bid goodbye on-air. For one whole season the TV5 show has been the rival of ASAP Natin’ To where Maja Salvador was the “queen of the dance floor”.

Her absence from the Kapamilya Sunday musical variety show gave an opportunity to Chinita Princess Kim Chui to be the new “queen of the dance floor”.

Maja bid goodbye to SNL fans through her Twitter post. “Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat na sumubaybay, sumuporta, at nakisaya sa amin sa isang buong season ng #SNL Thank you very much Mr. M sa pagbuo ng show na ito para makapagbigay ng trabaho sa marami at makapag dulot ng saya sa lahat ng mga fans for the past 3 months!” she wrote.

Based on the article by Rey Pumaloy in Abante Entertainment, it is still unclear if what will be the next project of the actress-dancer. However, the columnist said that there are talks within showbiz circles that she can no longer be back to ASAP Natin ‘To.
