Philippine Landmass Covered w/ Clouds & Expected to Experience Inclement Weather Condition Due to 4 Weather Systems

The four weather systems within the country’s vicinity are covering the Philippine landmass with clouds and would affect the weather.

The Facebook page “Premier New Ventures” reported that the Philippine landmass is fully covered by clouds due to the four weather systems. The weather disturbances are also expected to bring rains over the Visayas region including Negros Oriental.

The four weather disturbances have been identified as Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), Tail- end of a Frontal System (Shear Line), Low-Pressure Area (LPA), and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

4 Weather Systems

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported that the LPA was last spotted at 65 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. The ITCZ goes along with the LPA.

The LPA would bring cloudy condition with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga, Western and Central Visayas, Zamboanga del Norte, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Quezon.

The shear line and amihan would bring cloudy conditions and widespread rains over Eastern Visayas and Bicol Region.

The weather agency also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides due to the weather systems.
