Efren “Bata” Reyes Slams Viral Death Hoax with Video of Himself Being Alive

The Philippine billiard icon Efren “Bata” Reyes daughter shares video of “The Magician” lively shouts that he’s alive to clarify the death hoax.

Recently, an article claiming that “The Magician” Efren “Bata” Reyes died at the age of 66. The article circulates online as many netizens have shared the news.

However, many netizens especially the fans of the billiard icon doesn’t believed that he is already dead. The claimed that the news against Reyes is fake.

Meanwhile, to prove that the world champion is still alive, his daughter Chelo Reyes shared some videos of his father lively shouting that he is still alive. Chelo slammed the people who shared the fake news.

“Sa mga nagsshare at nakakabasa ng mga lumalabas na balitang patay na si tatay, huwag po kayo maniwala, FAKE NEWS lang po yan..,” Chelo Reyes said in a post on Facebook.

“DIYOS NA BAHALA SA INYONG NAGPAPAKALAT NG GANYANG BALITA. #DiNakakatuwa kakatapos nag lang niya mag-almusal e..,” she wrote, attaching a video of Reyes waving to the camera and a screenshot of a post going around social media regarding his reported death.

The 66-years-old billiard champion can be seen on the video shouting “OK lang ako,” to viewers, even raising his hand. In the second clip shared, Reyes is also seen playing billiard with his friends.
