Alleged Party Drugs Supplier Nabbed By PDEA In Quezon City

QUEZON CITY – Operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency recently arrested a suspected supplier of party drugs in Quezon City.

The suspect was identified as Jhun Cabayan, aged 33. PDEA spokesman Derrick Carreon said that he was arrested during a sting operation in Barangay South Triangle, according to a report from PhilStar.

Carreon added that video footage of the drug transaction showed the suspect handing over a box of party drugs to a poseur buyer in a car that was parked along Mother Ignacia Avenue.

Other anti-drug operatives also went inside the vehicle and arrested Cabayan.

Retrieved from the suspect were 23 drug tablets, 25 flyhigh capsules and 300 milliliter of liquid drugs, which are valued at P171,600.

Cabayan is under police custody and will be charged for drug trafficking.

Based on the report, another suspected drug dealer was arrested by police in Barangay Abid, aged 20, was arrested by operatives of the Novaliches Police Station 4, according to QC police Brig. Gen. Danilo Macerin.

Abid reportedly sold a pack of suspected drugs for  P19,500 to a poseur-buyer.

Retrieved from the suspect were 30 grams of illegal drugs and a cell phone he used during the drug deal.

Abid was among the nine suspected drug pushers arrested in QC for the past two days.
