Lady Eating Ice from Super Market Freezer for TikTok Challenge Goes Viral
A young lady earned criticisms from the online community after she eats ice from the supermarket freezer for a TikTok challenge.
In Twitter, a concerned netizen shared a video of a group of students who record one of their friends eating ice from the supermarket freezer to complete the challenge from the video streaming platform TikTok.
The young lady on the video did the “licking ice cream” challenge. The challenge went viral last year after young people licked ice cream before placing the cover and return the container inside the freezer.
In the video, the student made her own version of the challenge. Instead of ice cream, she scoops and eats the ice thicken in the ice cream freezer in the supermarket in Malaysia.

The short clip shows the young girl actually eating the ice despite the fact that it came from the freezer that’s probably touched by hundreds of people each day. The young woman was identified to a student at Sultan Idris Education University in Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia.
While TikTok creator is simply amused by a friend’s action, netizens went angry expressing that the ice from that freezer is definitely not suitable for human consumption. Considering the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, many netizens are surprised that these young people think it is right to eat ice from the public freezer.
