Previously, fans drew concerns that if Deadpool were to enter the MCU, it would be a toned-down PG-13 version as Marvel was now under the family-friendly Disney. Luckily, this won’t be the case for the future of Deadpool.

Unfortunately, Feige also confirmed that while the Deadpool team has already began working on a script, filming wouldn’t be started until at least 2022.

According to a report from Daily Mail, Feige stated:

Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun

Ryan Reynolds’s portrayal of Deadpool was renowned by fans and quickly became one of the most beloved characters in the film industry. In 2016, Deadpool’s first movie earned $782.6 million worldwide. Meanwhile, the 2018 sequel grossed over $785 million.
