Jelai Andres Shares Experience after She and Family Becomes Positive with COVID-19
Kapuso actress and vlogger Jelai Andres shares her experience when she and her family were found positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Since the outbreak of contagious disease, lots of celebrities around the world including Philippines have been infected with coronavirus. COVID-19 also hit Kapuso comedienne and vlogger Jelai Andres.
This is what she shares when she looked back on all the trials she and her family faced last year through her new YouTube vlog. According to Jelai, in October last year when she found out she tested positive for COVID-19 as well as other members of her family.
It is said to have happened at a time when people were often leaving and most of them were returning to work. She also receives offers and rackets after a few months while waiting at home.
“Isa sa pinaka, pinaka, pinakakinakatakot ko nangyari sa amin at hindi n’yo alam. Hindi ko nai-share, hindi ko shinare sa inyo is nagka-COVID po kaming lahat. Alam mo ‘yun, pinakadadasal mo na huwag kayo magkaroon pero ang hirap kasi sobrang nakakatakot talaga,” shared Jelai in her latest vlog.
She continued, “Hindi po biro ang magka-COVID. Ang hirap, sobra. Nahirapan ako, hindi para sa akin kundi para doon sa mga kasama ko, sa pamilya ko, lahat kami sa bahay po.”
Jelai also shared some video clips where she can be seen fighting the killer virus. In the video, you can see the comedienne struggling with her condition while crying.

The Kapuso actress said that she is the one who was really strongly influenced by COVID. She said she felt almost all the symptoms such as cold, cough, fever, difficulty breathing and body aches.
She said she really thought she would disappear but Lord still gave her a chance to live. She also said that it was a good thing that her parents’ house was separate so they were not infected.
According to Jelai, he allegedly got the virus from her frontliner cousin who she had been with several times at that time. It was said to be negative when they were together but it was said that she had a co-worker who tested positive so they became infected.
