Vice President Robredo Included on List of Possible Presidential Candidate in 2022 Elections
VICE PRESIDENT ROBREDO – The camp of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo reacted to the result of a 2022 presidential election survey by Pulse Asia.
Currently, the Filipinos are a year away from the next national election. The 2022 Elections will include the political race for the next president of the Republic of the Philippines.
As early as last year, there are already names on who might run for president in 2022. Meanwhile, none has yet to confirm about running for president next year.

Currently, surveys have already been carried out with regards to the 2022 presidential elections. Pulse Asia has conducted a survey on the possible candidates for the next presidential race. Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte ranked 1st on the survey.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, also one of the people that the survey result named is Vice President Leni Robredo. She landed on the fifth place for possible presidential candidates in 2022 as surveyed by Pulse Asia.
Vice President Robredo’s camp reacted to the results of the survey. According to the report, her spokesperson, Barry Gutierrez, said that the next elections are “a long way away”.
Gutierrez stressed that it is still too early to politicize and to press on the next election. Furthermore, he stated that the Vice President is keeping her focus on the response efforts amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the calamities that struck the country.
Previously, Robredo expressed that she has no plans to run for a higher office and things like it are not planned. According to her, the positions she got like being a congressman before and a vice president now just came her way and she did not plan for it.
