Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Leads Survey of Possible Candidates for President in 2022
SARA DUTERTE – The Davao City Mayor ranked first in the Pulse Asia Survey of Possible Presidential Candidates in Election 2022.
Currently, we are a year away from the next national election that includes a race for the next president of the Republic of the Philippines. There are already names of possible presidential candidates in 2022 crossing the surface.
Undeniably, one of people whom the public eyes to have a possibility of running in the next presidential race is Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, the daughter of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
The younger Duterte succeeded her father when he won in the presidential race 2016 via landslide victory. He has served Davao for around 20 years and many really called for him to run for the highest post in the government.
Like her father, a lot of people are also calling for Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte to run for president in Elections 2022. Many like the upfront leadership of the female mayor.
Recently, Pulse Asia launched a survey on the possible presidential candidates in 2022. Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte topped the list and she is followed by former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Sen. Grace Poe.
Marcos and Poe tied at the 2nd place of the list based on a report of ABS-CBN News. Manila Mayor Isko Moreno ranked third and he is followed by Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Vice Pres. Leni Robredo who landed on the 4th and 5th places, respectively.

None of the said persons has already confirmed their bid for the 2022 presidential elections. Visibly, all are focusing on the current problems in the society now most especially the COVID-19 pandemic.
