Two Suspected Drug Pushers Arrested In Lucena City Busts

LUCENA CITY – Police recently arrested two alleged illegal drug pushers in buy bust operations in Lucena City.

Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Romulo Albacea, local police chief, said in a report that anti-narcotics operatives arrested Fernando Atienza, aged 58, after he sold P500 worth of illegal drugs to a poseur buyer in a transaction in Barangay Market View at 12:50 AM on Tuesday, according to Inquirer.

The police earlier arrested Mark Joseph Campomanes, aged 37, in another drug sting operation in Barangay Ilayang Iyam at 10:50 PM on Monday.

Retrieved from the suspect were four sachets of illegal drugs which is worth at about P13,000 among drug users. Reformed drug users in the villages were the ones tipped off the alleged drug pushing activities to the police based on the report.

Previously, a kilo of suspected illegal drugs which is worth P6.8 million were retrieved in Zamboanga Sibugay.

Operatives have conducted an anti-illegal drugs operation in Barangay Lumbog, Imelda town at 2:15 PM.

Three suspects identified by the police as Crimalde I Tarawi, Albasir N Masihul, and Basir B Alano, aged 48, of Tulay, Jolo, Sulu were arrested.

Retrieved from the arrested were 18 pack of suspected illegal drugs that weighed about a kilo, and a bag containing a bundle of boodle money
