Father in Taguig Surrender after He Kills His 2 Kids Due to Confusion
A 29-year-old father kills his two (2) kids due to confusion after but later surrendered to authorities in Taguig City and confess the crime.
According to information provided by Police Colonel Celso Rodriguez on Friday, the suspect was identified as Aiko Siacunco, a resident of North Signal and unemployed. Based on the initial investigation by the authorities, Aiko’s wife first took her life on Thursday.
Rodriguez said, because the suspect was confused about how to raise their two children who are only three and one year old, he was able to hang them. He also revealed the suspect was found and taught right there in their room because he survived his hanging
“Kagabi natagpuan din siyang (ina ng mga bata) nagbigti, nadiscover ‘yan… noong nagbigti nga siya, imbes na maglamay ‘yung padre de pamilya eh kanina siguro gulong-gulo siya kasi sabi niya hindi niya malaman na kung paano bubuhayin ‘yung dalawa,” said Rodriguez in an interview with GMA News.

After committing the crime, the suspect also attempted to take his own life but survived. After recovering from the confusion, the father then surrendered to the police station.
According to Rodriguez, the couple often quarreled because the suspect was unemployed and only his wife, who was a call center agent, used to support them. The couple is really depressed because of their life status.
“Nade-depress na daw sila talagang magasawa, silang magasawa daw talaga… Ang sabi daw ng asawa niya sa kanya, parang sinisisi siya lagi bakit ayaw mong maghanap ng trabaho, parang ganon,” Rodriguez said.
