Is it true that Paolo Bediones is not giving the salary of his show’s staff?
Media personality Paolo Bediones answered the accusation against him that he is not giving the salary of the staff of his show.
Aside from being a TV host and news anchor, Paolo also ventured into producing shows. He is one of the persons behind the blended learning materials for DepEdTV.
Based on the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon, a letter from the staff of the show was sent to the news site stating the accusation against Paolo. This matter immediately reached the camp of the media personality and so he answered this.
In his statement, Paolo Bediones said that the letter from the staff did not indicate the proper name of the company that hired them. He also said that the people claiming this accusation against him were not hired by the company.
“There is much confusion now as most production staff have personally messaged Management of their continuing commitment to the company and the DepEdTV project as they truly believe in this as a legacy project,” he added.
Although he admitted that payments were delayed, he pointed out that these “have been processed and continue to be processed DESPITE the fact that a majority of you DO NOT have OFFICIAL RECEIPTS which the company, for your convenience, has outsourced the processing and printing of for you.”
He also thanked those employees who continue to “understand their roles as contractors and freelancers”. Paolo also stressed that everyone will get paid but not everyone will continue to be working with them.
“P.S I have been monitoring all the group chats and have taken note of those that have displayed unprofessional and unethical behavior towards the company and some members of its admin staff,” Paolo Bediones added.
