Philippine “National Scammer” Xian Gaza could not help but doubt the viral post made by a lantern maker on social media. It will be recalled that Maximino Simon went viral on social media after he showed himself crying because his customer allegedly did not buy the lantern worth P100,000.

Simon’s family received help and some even offered to buy a lantern that he did not sell after the Facebook post went viral on social media and captured a lot of netizens’ hearts.

However, Xian seems to doubt Maximino’s true purpose. He mocks the emotional video of the lantern vendor. According to his scammer mind, “Marketing strategy lang talaga ni Manong yun para maubos agad yung ginawa nilang parol.”

Xian added that no trader or businessman will agree to do the hundred percent productions if his customer will not give a “downpayment” especially if the transaction is large.

“Bilang “National Scammer ng Pilipinas”, naniniwala ako na walang t*ngang negosyante ang gagawa ng 100K worth of parol na walang downpayment. So dalawang bagay lang ito mga kapatid, either t*nga si Manong or marketing style lang niya yun,” he wrote in his post, which is now deleted.

Xian even challenged Maximino, instead of crying on social media, he allegedly contacted her when she received help. Xian has followers who favor him and say that the internet celebrity has a point. Simon’s family has not yet responded to Xian’s post.

Xian was known for his publicity stunts and his “scams” while he was still in the Philippines. His alleged infiltration of the authorities to escape the country also went viral. But Immigration denied that Xian got through to them and said they did not find a bad record so they allowed him to leave the Philippines.
