Drunk Man Drowned to Death in Tondaligan Beach in Pangasinan

A man who visit Tondaligan Beach in Pangasinan province was drowned to death after he allegedly drunk went for a swimming amid their drinking session.

A 30-year-old man from Pampanga visits Tondaligan Beach in Barangay Bonuan Gueset in Pangasinan Wednesday evening. The man had been drinking with his friends when an unexpected happening occurs.

The victim was identified by the Dagupan City Police as Jefferson Juan Carlos, a resident of Betis, Pampanga, currently residing at Tambac Muelag, Tambac, Dagupan City.

Based on the report of Manila Bulletin, Carlos had been drinking with his friend Russel Roque when decided to go for a swim at around 7 p.m. Roque didn’t notice that Carlos is already missing in action.

Roque said he only found out that his friend had gone for a swim after he saw lifeguards trying to resuscitate Carlos after being rescued from the sea. Carlos was rushed to Region Medical Center but declared dead-on-arrival by the attending physician.

Meanwhile, authorities advised visitors and tourist to moderate drinking alcoholic when you still have the plan to swim later after a session. Authorities warned that it could lead to dangerous happenings.
