Duterte Responds To ICC Complaint: I Only Killed Past Loves In My Heart

President Duterte Responds To ICC Complaint Over Drug War

DUTERTE RESPONDS TO ICC COMPLAINT – Recently, the International Criminal Court issued findings against President Rodrigo Duterte for alleged crimes against humanity.

Back in 2016, a year into his precedency, Duterte claimed that he “personally” killed drug suspects during his stint as the mayor of Davao. Furthermore, Duterte also stated that he killed because he felt that former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo liked it.

But, during his pre-recorded public message on Wednesday, Duterte emphasized that he never ordered police to conduct extra-judicial killings. Afterward, the President emphasized that he never said that the police or military would kill.

Instead, he said that he himself would commit to killing. However, during his public address, President Duterte followed up in jest, saying the only thing he killed was past lovers in his heart.

Ang problema wala pa akong pinatay, marami ako dito sa puso ko, marami akong patay na pag-ibig, wala akong pinatay na tao

Moreover, the President asserted that he never told the authorities to go out and kill. Additionally, Duterte said that he ordered his men to destroy the drug apparatus. However, the difference, according to Duterte, is when there’s a shootout while destroying the apparatus, casualties are sure to occur.

Wala akong sinabi na patayin ninyo.  Pero sabi ko ito, go out and destroy the apparatus, ‘yan. Pagka nagkabarilan dyan in destroying the apparatus, goodbye ka
