According to a report from GMA News, the violator under the alias “Gilbert” claimed that he was made to run by a staff of Barangay 76-A, who shot him several times and struck him with a rattan stick.

Barangay Captain Rolando Trajera, however, denied the claim.

Due to this, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) ordered a probe into the allegation. DCPO spokesperson Police Captain Rose Aguilar added that they will do no such thing and to observe human rights.

Four personnel were allegedly involved in the incident. they are yet to be identified and will possibly face charges should they be proven guilty, based on the report.
