Ready to migrate, Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia admits after ABS-CBN shut down.
BILLY CRAWFORD – TV5 host and actor Billy Crawford has already decided to leave the country when ABS-CBN shut down but this happened.
For practical reasons and for his family – these are the main reasons why Billy Crawford transferred to another week. His daily noontime show has the same time slot with “It’s Showtime”, his previous show. But based in a previous article, he insist of being in no competition with his former network.
Lunch Out Loud is his new show and he is among the Kapamilya artists who is now in TV5. To recall, it was last 2008 when he officially became a Kapamilya. Since then, he became and turned to be one of the most in demand hosts now. He hosted programs such as ASAP, It’s Showtime, Pilipinas Got Talent, Your Face Sounds Familiar, Pinoy Boyband Superstar, Little Big Shots, and Search For The Idol Philippines.
When ABS-CBN shut down and stopped operating fully last July 10, Billy admitted how down he was feeling thinking that he’s one of the people who also lost the job. There were accordingly nights that he’s been crying and even ultimately thought of leaving. Starting a family without a job added to the heavy feeling he felt then.
In Usapang Real Life of Luchi Cruz-Valdes, he revealed, “I’m planning to sell everything and gonna move out of this country. And feels… wala, e, I didn’t have a job. You know what I’m saying? And if I did, it wasn’t really sustainable. I couldn’t sustain my family. It was a lot of depressing moments.”
But then, he received offers from TV5 and he is thankful for the job and more thankful that he gets to do what he wants at his age. He added, “I want this to be sustainable for my family.”
