Suspect Behind Murder Of Baker In Valenzuela, Nabbed In Manila

MANILA – One of the suspects who was behind the murder of an 18-year-old baker in Valenzuela City was recently arrested in Manila.

The man, 38 years of age, was arrested in Sta. Cruz, Manila for not wearing face mask, according to a report from ABS-CBN News.

Retrieved from the suspect was a bladed weapon. He was later discovered to be involved in a murder case as police were on the hunt for him.

He was behind the murder of a Vinz Toling in a bakery in Valenzuela City, which took place last month November 28. Toling worked as a baker there.

The suspect, who also worked there, said that he was working there for 2 days when he was drinking with the victim and another co-worker. He added that the two argued each other without any truce.

The victim grabbed the knife and attempted to attack the other, only to be attacked by the latter with a blunt weapon and eventually get stabbed to death.

The suspect added that he attempted to mediate the situation, saying that he neither touched the victim nor the other suspect.

He was forced to hide after the suspect bribed him P800 to stay silent.

Based on the report, Police Lt. Col. John Guiagui, commander of Sta. Cruz police, said that he was not convinced of the suspect’s alibi.

The arrested was urged by his sibling after they were called out by the victim’s family. Meanwhile, the search for the other murder suspect is still ongoing.
