FORBES MOST INFLUENTIAL CELEBRITIES – Several local celebrities are among the 100 personalities of Forbes Most Influential Celebrities list.
Seven of the biggest stars in the country were included in the the Top 100 list of Most Influential Celebrities On Social Media of Forbes. They are Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, Sarah Geronimo, Kathryn Bernardo, Kim Chiu, Marian Rivera, and Vice Ganda.
The first one to appear in the list is the queen of Kapuso network Marian Rivera being described in the list as a top endorser and among the most followed celebrities in Facebook. Next is Kim Chiu where the website noted her “viral video gaffe” which eventually turned to a fundraising opportunity and became the basis for The Classroom Song.
Anne also made it on the list where her last year’s hit The Mall, The Merrier with fellow Digital Star Vice Ganda was noted. She’s the most popular celebrity in the Philippines with “roughly 16 million followers and endorsement deals with Jollibee, Louis Vuitton and Pantene.” Vice is also recognized for his wide followings and box office hits.
Activist and TV host Angel Locsin also earned a spot recognizing her huge 19-million following in Facebook and her spot in “Heroes Of Philanthropy“. It also didn’t forget her status as among the most sought-after and an award winning actresses in the country.
Next is Kathryn Bernardo for being the lead actress in in box office hits The Hows of Us and Hello, Love, Goodbye – two of the highest grossing films in the Philippines. And the last to appear in the list coming from the Philippines is Sarah Geronimo cited for her Best Actress win at the 2019 PMPC Star Awards and her efforts to raise funds for coronavirus relief.
