Bus Conductor Caught on Camera While Fighting Snatcher Who Steal His Belt Bag
A bus conductor has been caught on camera while chasing and fighting the snatcher who steal his belt bag containing the passengers’ fare.
Robbery has been one of the most common types of crimes happening in different countries all around the world including the Philippines. The rate of criminality continue to increase due to poverty and lack of job opportunities.
The Philippine government is implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent robbery incident but crime is still happening despite the stricter policy. The authorities also advised the public to be more vigilant to avoid being a victim.
A CCTV footage caught the snatcher after stealing the belt bag of a bus conductor along the road in Tigbauan, Iloilo. The conductor chased and even had an exchange of powerful punches with the snatcher.
Unfortunately, the suspect was able to get the belt bag and immediately run away to escape the crime. The belt bag is reportedly containing the bus collection from the passengers’ payment worth P10,000.
Eventually, the culprit has been arrested after 24 hours. The suspect has been identified as Benmark Pastrana and admitted his mistake. He is willing to face the consequence of his actions.
