PFIZER VACCINE – A 90-Year-Old Grandma became the first person in history to receive the newly approved COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech.

After more than 10 months of dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, a vaccine has finally been approved and distributed. Recently, the UK approved the distribution of Pfizer and BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Furthermore, a grandmother named Margaret Keenan was the first person in the world to receive the vaccine. According to an article from the Telegraph, she got vaccinated for COVID-19 at around 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

As per the article, Ms. Keenan stated:

I feel so privileged to be the first person vaccinated against Covid-19, it’s the best early birthday present I could wish for because it means I can finally look forward to spending time with my family and friends in the New Year after being on my own for most of the year

Moreover, the person who assisted the vaccination of Ms. Keenan was an NHS nurse, Miss May Parsons. Originally, Parsons came from the Philippines and has since worked for NHS for the past 24 years.
