Rudy Giuliani Tests Positive For COVID-19 Lobbying For Trump’s Fraud Claims
RUDY GIULIANI – Current U.S. President Donald Trump’s top lawyer, Rudy Giuliani tested positive for COVID-19 trying to overturn election results to Trump’s favor.
Trump and his team were adamant to overturn election results since its release. However, every legal action they pushed for eventually failed due to a lack of concrete evidence. As such, Giuliani made the effort to lobby for Trump’s fraud claims.
State and federal officials had repeatedly stated that there wasn’t any evidence to support Trump’s claims of voter fraud. Because of this, Giuliani went to visit states such as Georgia to urge lawmakers to stop certifying Biden’s win. Furthermore, he made similar please to local lawmakers in Michigan and Arizona earlier in the week.
But, because of this, Giuliani had to travel across the key states. Unfortunately, the United States still has the most number of COVID-19 cases in the world. Eventually, Giuliani himself, along with several other members of the White House, contracted the virus.
During his campaign and even earlier, Trump and many of his confidants shunned public health officials’ advice to protect themselves with face masks. Additionally, Trump himself got infected with COVID-19.
