How to avail of the Pasig City Christmas Gift Bags?

Mayor Vico Sotto announced that they are starting to distribute the Pasig City Christmas Gift Bag and this is how the residents of the city will avail of this.

The house-to-house distribution of gift bags to the first 13 barangays has already started on December 5. Each bag costs P565. Residents can expect two kilos of rice, spaghetti, condensed milk, nata de coco, corned beef, luncheon meat, fruit cocktail, canned sausage, and cheese inside each bag of Pasig City Christmas Gift Bag.

In addition to that, the Pasig LGU also included two washable cloth masks. Amid the pandemic, Vico Sotto said that they are ensuring the safety of the residents of Pasig as the members of the team that distribute the gifts were subjected to swab tests.

“Medyo malungkot dahil bawal muna ang mga party. Nandyan pa rin ang banta ng [COVID-19]. Pero gagawin natin ang lahat para maging masaya pa rin sa Pasig ngayong Kapaskuhan,” the mayor said.

How to avail this? Residents will be given a proof from PasigPass, the digital contact tracing solution of the city and this should be presented upon receiving the food bags.

“When no one is in the house to receive, you can still get your Pamaskong Handog bags. We will leave a letter with instructions on how to claim it,” the Pasig City LGU stated.

Those who are living in condominiums have a different schedule for the distribution of the Pasig city Christmas Gift Bags as the LGU will coordinate with the owners of the residential buildings.
