Miss USA Lindsey Coffey Crowned Miss Earth 2020
LINDSEY COFFEY – On November 29, 2020, Miss USA Lindsey Coffey was crowned as Miss Earth 2020.
The Miss Earth 2020 pageant was streamed online on KTX on November 29 for the benefit of the ‘Miss Earth Foundation.’ The virtual coronation was hosted by James Deakin.
Miss USA Lindsay Coffey was crowned as Miss Earth 2020. She succeeded Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico.
The 28-year-old beauty queen is the first Miss Earth titleholder from the US after several runner-up placements. Miss Philippines Roxanne Baeyens was named Miss Earth Water 2020, while Stephany Zreik from Venezuela was named Miss Earth Air, and Michala Rubinstein from Denmark as Miss Earth Fire.
Miss USA Lindsay Coffey was in initial disbelief after learning about the results of the Miss Earth 2020 pageant. She said, “That is one of the best surprises I have ever received in my life. I am so shocked right now.”
“Honestly, I did not even think that I had enough to really do this because I am so brand new to all of this. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. But from the very beginning, the stars seemed to have aligned. Even though I had some doubts, all my supporters, my team knew I was on the right track. To actually have this come true, it’s pretty remarkable,” she added.
Miss Philippines Roxanne Baeyens said she’s grateful for the experience and to the pageant’s organization for letting her and her fellow candidates speak about their environmental concerns.
