ANNE CURTIS – Here’s what Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis felt as she got to interview Grammy Award-winning singer Dua Lipa.
One of the biggest stars in out country is Anne Curtis but when she got to be in front of Grammy Award-winning singer Dua Lipa, she turned into a giddy fan girl just like many of us. We have known the actress as a self-confessed super fan of the female singer and before, she was surprised with a birthday greeting from her in Its Showtime.
And now, in a virtual interview with Dua, we can see how nervous and excited she was while talking to her. She shared a video of the interview with the British pop star on her Instagram where she also expressed the “levitating” feeling she felt.
Dua was asked by range of topics from the releasing of her second studio album Future Nostalgia amid the pandemic, the women empowerment in her songs, future collaborations with international artists, and her upcoming virtual concert Studio 2054.
“I was so nervous.. as you all probably know, I’m a huge fan. Ahhh. She was so kind and sweet. Oh and it took everything in me to NOT sing Pretty Please when she mentioned it!” says Anne in her post.

Meanwhile, Dua’s “Don’t Start Now” was nominated in 2021 Grammy’s Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and in Best Pop Solo Performance categories. Her “Future Nostalgia” also got nominated in Album of the Year category and “Un Dia (One Day)” with J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Tainy was listed as nominated in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.
