Martin Nievera Treats Fans w/ New Song “A Brand New Christmas”
MARTIN NIEVERA – The Concert King released a new holiday song entitled “A Brand New Christmas”.
Filipinos are among the people who are into Christmas songs during the holiday season. Philippines holds one of the longest celebration of Christmas across the globe.
In the country, as soon as the -ber month starts, Christmas songs can be heard everywhere most especially in shopping malls. People also start to plan what foods to prepare and what gifts to give to their loved ones.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic now, several Filipino singers strived to come up with songs as treats for everyone this holiday season. One of them is Concert King Martin Nievera.
Based on a report on Pep, Martin Nievera released a new holiday song entitled “A Brand New Christmas”. It is his first single since his return to the Vicor Records which gave him the spotlight in the music industry.
According to Martin, his new holiday song is “a Christmas song in the new normal”. He stressed that it talks about the kind of Christmas that people don’t know yet.
Based on the report, the Concert King believes that the spirit of Christmas among Filipinos will not be vanished despite the calamity and the pandemic now.
“We’re so good at turning a calamity into a celebration of life and of survival… the Christmas spirit is not going to disappear from this country,” he said.
This is not the first Christmas song of Martin. He is also the man behind the song “Christmas Won’t Be the Same Without You”.
