Gas Pipeline Explodes On Mexican Highway, At Least 12 Dead Says Authorities

GAS PIPELINE EXPLODES ON HIGHWAY – It was a regular sunny day in the Mexican City of Jala until an unfortunate incident befell travelers.

A gas pipeline exploded along a highway killing at least 12 people. The huge explosion was caught on video revealing the immense damage caused by the blast.

The blast happened on the edge of a mountain serving as a border between the Tepic-Guadalajara Highway and Chapalilla and Ixtlan del Rio. Currently, authorities are still investigating the incident. Unfortunately, the cause of the explosion was still unclear.

Different local sources have reported different body counts. However, according to data from TMZ, the death count is between 6 to 14 people. Moreover, there was also severe damage to nearby cars who were close to the blast.

Debris from the road barriers, cars, and asphalt scattered across the highway. One car was even lodged in the side of a burnt mountain.
