Female Flood Victim Patiently Washes Dirty Clothes Recovered from Floodwaters

A female flood victim patiently washes the dirty clothes of her family after they have recovered it from the floodwaters.

Last week, Typhoon Ulysses has brought severe devastation in different parts of the Philippines particularly in Luzon. The typhoon also triggered severe flooding in Marikina City, Cagayan, and Isabela, which displaced thousands of residents.

The Facebook page “News5” has shared the photo of a female flood victim washing their clothes full of mud after recovering it from the floodwaters. The photo is now circulating on social media.

In the photo, it can be seen that the woman is patiently washing their clothes filled with mud and dirt. They have recovered their belongings from the floodwaters, which reached the second floor of their home.

The lady identified as Aling Imelda said that their house has been submerged in floodwaters due to the heavy rains brought by Typhoon Ulysses. She is currently wearing the clothes they have received from the donations of kind-hearted individuals.
