PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (November 14)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon would bring rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (November 14, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeast monsoon would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA said that the northeast monsoon would bring over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the remaining parts of Cagayan Valley. The tail-end of the cold front would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Batanes.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rains over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan. The same weather conditions are expected over Metro Manila and remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over northern Luzon would be moderate to rough. The coastal water conditions over the rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be slight to moderate.

PAGASA still monitors Typhoon Vamco with maximum sustained winds of 165 kilometers per hour and gustiness up to 205 kph outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
