Massive Amount of People Trooped to Shoe Store for 11.11 Sale Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
A huge amount of people flocked to a shoe store in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Nowadays, any forms of mass gathering for whatever reason is strictly prohibited to avoid the further spread of the coronavirus disease, which has already affected millions of people all around the world.
Recently, a Facebook user named Aldo Nelbert Banaynal has shared the controversial photos of a huge amount of crowd who flocked outside a shoe store due to 11.11 sale. The photos earned various reactions from the online community.
In the photos, it can be seen that a large amount of customers have gathered outside of a shoe store “JS Footwear”, which is selling 3 pairs for P998. The store can be found on Sanson Road in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
The crowd has also disregarded the physical distancing measures just to purchase cheap shoes on sale. Police officers have been assigned in the area but got overwhelmed by the huge number of customers.
