For several times, the son of veteran showbiz personalities Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes has caught the attention of many netizens. From the time when he battled against a strong political opponent in 2019 election until the day he won, netizens have seen his journey in politics.
That did not end there, his constituents and even people from different parts of the Philippines have been following the things he is doing for his city. For several times, Vico Sotto trended on Twitter because of the programs he has initiated in Pasig.
Just recently, another act of the young Mayor caught the attention of the online community. In his recent Twitter post, Mayor Vico Sotto shared the Zoom meeting that he and the Pasig City scholars did. He also shared the highlights of their meeting.
Based on the caption of his post, there are 18,200 scholars in Pasig City. In the thread of his post, the young public servant gave a reminder to all the students who are being supported by the scholarship program of the city.
“Laging tandaan na wala kayong utang na loob kahit kanino (lalo na sa politiko) dahil pera ito ng taumbayan. Na-a-appreciate ko naman kapag may nagpapasalamat sa kin pero naiilang ako dahil di ko pera to. Mag-aral lang kayo nang mabuti, sulit na ang investment ng Pasig sa inyo,” he said.
