Eric Trump Ballot Burning Video Fake Says Local Authority
ERIC TRUMP BALLOT BURNING – As the Presidential race between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden continues, controversy was taking place.
Amidst the election, Eric Trump, Donald Trump’s son, shared a video showing a man burning about 80 ballots all for his father. The video was posted on Tuesday, election day, showing a man with a plastic bag full of “paper ballots”.
There was no face behind the video, however, the man claims that 80 false ballots were “all for President Trump”. Furthermore, the location of the video wasn’t known, however, the races on the papers were from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
As such, local authorities from the city said the papers were clearly sample ballots instead of official ballots. They explained that the ballots burned in the video lacked the bar code markings on official ballots.
Moreover, they compared the real and official ballots to the ballots seen in the video. According to an article from CNN, the City Communications director Julie Hill said fire investigators and police are investigating the issue.
Despite the video already being tagged as fake on Tuesday, it continued to be shared on social media. This eventually led to the video being shared by Eric Trump. The version he shared had over 1.2 million views. However, the account that Eric Trump retweeted from has been suspended. As such, the video can no longer be seen on his feed.
