G Tongi claps back to Arnell Ignacio after his “mahina ang ulo” post referring to celebrities.
ARNELL IGNACIO – Dancer and actress G Tongi reacts to Arnell Ignacio’s “mahina ang ulo” controversial public post about celebrities.
Former actor and now Assistant Vice President for Community Relation and Services Development of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation Arnell Ignacio has this cryptic message regarding airheaded celebrities. He posted on Facebook saying a controversial statement that caught lots of attention.
He wrote, “Noon ang artista kadalasan angtingin e mahina ang ulo… na stereoyped kung baga. Nakakasama nga ng loob noon… pero ngayon ang hirap na ipagtanggol. Ang daming prueba eh. Me yabang pa nga sa katangahan e.”
People online have speculated that he’s taking a swipe at Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban who previous post tells something about people who don’t do what they vowed to for the country and the people amid the calamity, Super Typhoon “Rolly”. Netizens believed that the actress’ post is about President Duterte whose presence were not felt when “Rolly” made its first landfall in Bicol.
Many celebrities are now speaking up against the government using their voice for the people. And it seems like they are being condemned because of this. They are criticized for speaking out their opinion and grievances. And with what Ignacio has said, another celebrity reacted to his post and that is the dancer and actress G Tongi.
She told Ignacio to take it slowly attacking their fellow celebrities online for they are just exercising their right to speak – their freedom of speech because despite their celebrity status, they are just like normal people as well who have their rights. She added, “Sa kaalaman ko, ang may mahinang ulo ay yung di tumutubong buhok mo, kaya tuloy naka plug ins ka…”
