Update on United States COVID-19 Cases Amid Coronavirus Pandemic
UNITED STATES COVID-19 CASES – The total coronavirus cases in the United States is over 9 million now amid the pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues for several months now. In fact, it has almost consumed all of the year 2020 and more than 200 countries and territories have recorded cases of the said disease.
The World Health Organization (WHO) said that the pandemic may be a long-term battle for the world to overcome. Even WHO was alarmed by how fast the infection spread.
It was in December 2019 when China recorded the first cases of the disease. Beginning January 2020, several other countries outside the Chinese nation logged cases of the disease. It caused nations to go on lockdown.
United States is one of the countries that recorded cases of the coronavirus. President Donald Trump has previously a national emergency due to the pandemic.
Based on a global tally of Worldometer, the United States COVID-19 cases now is more than 9 million. The tally recorded 9,203,356 total cases including 234,084 deaths and 5,969,017 recoveries.
U.S. is approaching its Election Day. Even U.S. President Donald Trump was infected by COVID-19 together with his wife, First Lady Melania Trump. They took a swab test after an adviser of the President tested positive for the disease.
The First Couple isolated. However, after a few days, Trump returned to White House and even removed his face mask for a photo opportunity. He is determined to keep on leading the country on the fight against the disease.
