More Young Filipinas Signing Up As Sugar Babies

SUGAR DADDY DATING SITES – According to Sugarbook, more young Filipinas are signing up to become Sugar babies on its site.

Controversy has also surrounded the term “sugar daddy” and “sugar baby”. However, amid the coronavirus pandemic, a renaissance for the term has sparked debate. With more being open about the topic, being a sugar baby has become normalized in most western cultures.

As such, Sugar Daddy Dating sites such as Sugarbook became exponentially popular, especially to young Filipina women. According to its website, the range for sugar babies in the Philippines is between 18-34. Additionally, there have been a recorded 28,310 sugar babies in the Philippines using Sugarbook.

Obviously, there wouldn’t be a rise in the number of Sugar Babies without reason. Currently, Sugarbook revealed that the average allowance sugar daddies give their babies is around P49,700 a month. Moreover, it was revealed that the massive spike in Sugar Baby numbers stemmed from lockdowns caused by COVID-19.

Along with this, Sugarbook also presented the top 5 Regions with the most registered sugar babies:

Meanwhile, a whopping 46% of sugar baby sign ups were found to be students. In addition, the other top sign ups on the site were women from the entertainment industry at 15% and the hospitality industry at 10%.

During a press release, Darren Chan, the founder of Sugarbook had this to say regarding the Philippines’ growth in members:
