Madam Auring passed away
Popular fortune-teller Madam Auring died at the age of 80 and her grandson Daryl Simon Pecson announced this sad news.
For several years, fortune telling is not the only occupation that Aurea Erfelo (her real name) had. She also some showbiz stints. For several times, her name went controversial for being linked to younger men.
She is also known for her unique fashion sense and the bubbly mood that she shares every time she appears onscreen. However, Madam Auring brought sadness in the life of her loved ones.
Her grandson Daryl shared this post on Facebook on October 30 announcing the passing away of the popular fortune-teller. She was 80 years old. Based on the article from GMA Entertainment Daryl confirmed this sad news also.
“#RestInPeace my Lola (sad but relieved face emoji) few days ago binisita kita magkausap lang tayo, dinalhan kita ng mga pasalubong at mga pangangailangan mo lubos ka nagalak,” Daryl wrote.
The grandson also recalled the hardship that his grandmother went through during her senior years. He added that he has a mixed emotion that her Lola has passed away.
Daryl said that he will miss the jokes of his Lola and the words of wisdom that she would always share to him. On the other hand, he said that he is feeling happy knowing that his grandmother did everything to make them feel loved.
“You fought your battles silently. Magkikita na kayo ni Mama sa kabilang buhay. You shall always be in our hearts. Love you,” Daryl said.
Based on the article, the other grandson of the fortune-teller shared that she was in the hospital last March when they celebrated her birthday. The family of Madam Auring has not disclosed yet further details, as of press time.
