Mayor Isko Moreno Suspends Classes for October 31, 2020 (Saturday)

WALANG PASOK – Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno has announced class suspension in all levels for private and public schools on October 31, 2020.

Mayor Francisco Moreno Domagoso announced on his Facebook live the suspension of all classes both public and private schools including grad school on Saturday (October 31). Moreno wants students to spend the day with their family.

“Kanselado na po ang lahat ng klase sa lahat ng antas (Kinder, Grade School, High School, Senior High, College, Grad School) sa October 31, 2020. Para po ay makasama niyo ang mga mahal niyo sa buhay sa araw na iyon. Maraming salamat po,” Moreno said.

The class suspension came a day before the observance of All Saints’ Day (November 1, 2020). However, all cemeteries nationwide have been closed by the Philippine government from October 29-November 4, 2020.

The closure of all cemeteries in the country was still a part of the quarantine guidelines to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease.
