Marco Gumabao To Sister's Defeat: "...I don’t agree with the decision"

Michele Gumabao bags 2nd runner-up in Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and Marco Gumabao has this reaction.

MARCO GUMABAO – Actor and model Marco Gumabao has this statement about his sister Michele Gumabao placing second runner-up in Miss Universe Philippines 2020.

Making rounds online are the fuss of many people about the reactions of candidates to Iloilo City’s Rabiya Mateo win as Miss Universe Philippines 2020. She stood out and got the title but Sandra Lemonon seems like not favored with the results. She had this intriguing posts online which caught social media attention.

And on the second runner-up is Michele Gumabao who expressed in a statement that she can handle defeat but what she cannot bear are the questions of “why” she wasn’t able to win the competition. And her brother, actor Marco Gumabao, was also not happy about the results and he is vocal about this on social media.

After the results was announced, the actor posted an inverted smiley and hours after it, he posted on his Instagram saying, “I’m proud of you! Of course, I don’t agree with the decision, but now is not the time to be bitter about it. I know this is God’s plan. We’re just getting started.”

Michele also didn’t show up in the viewing party of the pageant while being aired in GMA network. Many people looked for her while some took her absence as lack of sportsmanship.
