Actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga shared her COVID-19 recovery journey through her recent vlog but this elicited “bratinela” and “OA” comments from netizens.

Alex is not the first celebrity in the Philippines who tested positive for the new coronavirus. Many of the celebrities made their conditioned knownto the public while some elaborately shared their journey to recovery.

Previously, Kapuso comedian Michael V also revealed that he got infected and shared details of his recovery through his vlog also. That garnered sympathy and prayers from his fellow celebrities and fans.

When Alex Gonzaga shared her COVID-19 recovery journey, the online community also sympathized with and showed concern. Some expressed happiness that she and her family were able to surpass this chapter in their lives.

On the other hand, based on the article from Abante Entertainment, there were netizens who called the actress-vlogger “bratinela” and “OA” or over-acting” due to what she shared in her vlog.

It was said that netizens tagged her OA for blaming one of their household members who brought the virus in their house. Alex was criticized for her concerns why she was pissed when she got infected.

The actress was supposed to appear on her new noontime show on TV5 Laugh Out Loud. Her wedding with fiance Mikee Morada was supposed to happen this month of October also.

However, these reason of her reactions did not sit well with some netizens and because of that, Alex was called “bratinela”. Based on the article, even the “Bible Study” that they did while in quarantine was criticized because the actress blamed a member of their household why they got infected.

In her Twitter post, Alex Gonzaga answered a netizen who asked how sure she is that she was not the one who carried the virus in their house.
