Danica Sotto remembers her ‘Daddy Di Do Du’ days
Celebrity vlogger Danica Sotto shared throwback photos of her days when she did the sitcom, Daddy Di Do Du.
The said defunct Kapuso sitcom featured her real-life daddy Vic Sotto, Maxene Magalona and Isabelle de Leon as her sisters. It also featured Paolo Ballesteros who was her love interest in the show.
This was first released in 2001 and lasted until 2007. In the show, the audience practically saw how the characters grew,
especially Isabelle who was just a kid back then. With that span of time, the show has brought laughter to households.
The sitcom also received recognition. It was hailed as the Best Comedy Show of PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2002 and 2003. Vic Sotto also got a nomination for Best Comedy Actor in 2001.
In the recent Instagram post of Danica Sotto, she recalled those days she spent with her Vallejo family in Daddy Di Do Du. “#FlashbackFriday with Dina, Donna and Duday (heart emoji) Happy foundation day to me! Several netizens also recalled the time when they were avidly watching the defunct sitcom. Some even shared their fondest memories just like Instagram user @conie_libron. The netizen said that she and her husband followed the endearment that Danica and Paolo used in the show – Meowchi and Pochi.
