Arnel Pineda shares details on Hollywood movie about his life
Journey frontman Arnel Pineda gave an update on his upcoming Hollywood biopic that would showcase his life behind and in front of the camera.
The life of Arnel took a major turn when he was named as the new vocalist of the popular rock band. Because of this, his fame reached to other countries, not just in the Philippines and in the US.
Talking to Philstar in a digital interview, the singer shared a few details on the development of his upcoming biopic. He revealed that the screenwriter of the hit movie Joker and Now You See Me is the one writing the script of the movie based on his life.
The Pinoy singer also said that the production team is just waiting to commence the shooting. “Right now we’re eyeing when we can start to shoot the movie first. I can’t say five years, they wanted it the soonest,” he said.
When asked if he will be the one who will portray himself in the movie, he said that he does not thing this would happen. For Arnel Pineda, he is just for singing and his face is not for the movie.
On the other hand, he said that he and the Warner Bros. haven’t talked about this aspect yet.
“Of course the whole thing, the struggles, when I grew up, it’s those things. It’s about my life, anyway. It’s all going to be there,” the singer said when asked if his whole life will be featured.
Arnel Pineda is still unsure if his biopic will adopt the title of Journey’s popular song Don’t Stop Believin‘.
