According to ABS-CBN News, the agency added that storms 1 and 2 could potentially cause damage.

NDRRMC Executive Director Ricardo Jalad discloses how authorities are preparing for the potential calamities in a TeleRadyo interview.

Jalad disclosed that they held prior disaster risk assessment meetings a few months ago, as well as preparedness measurements, among them include preparing for La Niña.

They recently had discussions regarding the consecutive earthquakes from Caraga Region which are observed by PHIVOLCS, among them are near the ocean, especially near Mariana Trench, which could potentially cause tremendous tsunamis.

The discussions resulted in issuing advisories and educational campaigns to keep the residents well-informed about the disasters that they are about to face, based on the report.
