PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently said that Tropical Depression Pepito will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA and the Bicol Region

The bureau said that the trough of Tropical Depression Pepito is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA and the Bicol Region.

According to GMA News, the bureau said in its forecast that the center of Pepito was seen 430 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes at 3 PM.

It is packed with maximum sustained winds 55 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour. It is moving west northwestward at 20 kilometers per hour.

The northeasterly surface windflow will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rain showers over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon.

Localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. Flash floods and landslides might occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions may occur in Northern and Central Luzon, the eastern sections of Visayas, Mindanao and Southern Luzon.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters may occur for the rest of the country.
