Poor Street Sweeper Teaching His Kids w/ Their Lessons Under Street Lights

A poor street sweeper identified as Rolando Eugenio has been spotted tutoring his three kids on their lessons under the street lights.

The 54-year-old Rolando Eugenio is working as a street sweeper in Barangay Immaculate Concepcion, Quezon City and earning around P3,500 per month. He has a budget of over P100 only for the food of his family due to poverty.

Rolando lost his wife a few years ago after she passed away and leave their three children to him. The kids have been identified as Roselyn, 10-year-old; Mark, 7 years old; and Jeth, 6 years old.

Eugenio also revealed that he is bringing his children to his work just to keep an eye on them from time to time. He failed to finish his studies due to poverty, which make it difficult for him to find another job.

Due to extreme poverty the poor man is teaching his little kids about their lesson under a street light. He can’t afford to pay for the electricity and to buy gadgets for the online classes of his young children.

“Ang ginagawa ko po sa araw, dinadala ko po sila sa may trabaho ko. Doon po sila nag-aaral online po, tinutulungan po ako noong amo ko ng libre po. ‘Pag dating ng gabi, dito na kami, ganito po sitwasyon namin,” Eugenio said.
