Why Pia Wurtzbach was absent in her weekly online show?
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach was no-show in Queentuhan, her weekly online show with Binibining Pilipinas International 2014 Bianca Guidotti and Mutya ng Pilipinas Intercontinental 2010 Carla Lizardo.
Her absence happened following the controversial Instagram Story posts of her younger sister Sarah Wurtzbach. The latter accused the beauty queen of pretending to be nice in front of the public. According to Sarah, she did not get the treatment that Pia should rightfully do for her sister.
In the heat of the issue, the third Pinay Miss Universe chose to be silent. However, a person close to Pia revealed that what her sister did really saddened her.
Just recently, the manager of Pia Wurtzbach released a statement saying that this matter should be discussed within the family.
Amid the issue, the absence of the beauty queen in her weekly online show also caught the attention of many. Her co-host and fellow beauty queen Carla Lizardo explained why the Miss Universe 2015 was absent, based on the article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal.
“Unfortunately, si Pia will not be able to join us tonight, kasi meron na siyang work scheduled months ago that, unfortunately, coincided with our schedule,” Carla said.
The Mutya ng Pilipinas Intercontinental 2010 also assured the fans and their avid viewers that Pia will be back for their next episode.
As of the writing, Pia Wurtzbach has not released a statement yet regarding the allegations from her sister. Meanwhile, Sarah Wurtzbach turned her Instagram profile public again. She turned it to private after her social media rant.
