Drama series superstar Judy Ann Santos reacted to the “showbiz retirement” of Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Just recently, Mega shared a post on her Instagram account expressing her plan of retiring. “On my way to retirement…” she wrote in the caption of her post. This saddened her fans who are still anticipating new projects from her.
Even celebrities and prominent people in the Philippine entertainment industry left their comments on the post of the Megastar.
On the other hand, in her most recent post, Sharon clarified that the execution of her plan to retire is not that abrupt. She said that there are still some showbiz commitments that she has to fulfill.
The singer-actress also said that she is just preparing her fans and supporters that it will be happening sooner or later.
This clarification of Sharon Cuneta received a comment from Judy Ann Santos. The two prominent actresses became close when they did their first movie together titled Magkapatid.
They did not just play the roles of siblings in the film but behind the camera, they also became like sisters. The two actresses said that they don’t actually know how they became close, they just realized that their friendship bloomed without even forcing it to happen.
With Sharon’s “showbiz retirement”, Juday was still hopeful to have a project with the older actress.
“Ate!! Paano na pelikula nting tatlo ni regine!!!??!” Juday said. This received a reply from the Megastar. “Tara! Kulitin na natin! Hahaha! Miss you so much sis ko. I love you,” Sharon said. Several Sharonians also expressed love and support for the Megastar
