MMDA Apprehends Motorist and Backrider for Wearing Substandard Helmet, Personnel Gave Them Free Helmet

MMDA apprehends a motorist because its backrider is wearing a substandard and gave them a free helmet instead of issuing a violation ticket.

The Facebook page “Gadget Addict” has shared the video footage of several MMDA employees who apprehended a motorist and its backrider. The video goes viral and earned various comments from social media users.

In the video, it can be seen that the motorcycle rider initially tried to escape the MMDA enforcers but they were cornered by other officers. The traffic enforcers asked the why did the back rider doesn’t have a proper helmet.

The rider explained that the backrider has no helmet and just borrowed an unauthorized helmet. One of the considerate enforcers urged the backrider to remove her helmet and gave her a full face helmet.

The motorist and its colleague expressed their gratitude towards the road personnel for his kindness and consideration.
