Gabby Concepcion Remember His Mom as He Pays Tribute to all Teachers
Kapuso actor Gabby Concepcion pays tribute to all teachers as people now celebrating “Teacher’s Month” and remembers his late mom who is also a teacher.
In the virtual press conference of Gabay Guro, he paid tribute to the teachers because it was also his mother’s profession. The actor praised the teachers’ perseverance in teaching and sharpening the minds of the youth.
“Ang mga teacher kasi madalas kong nakikita noon, my mom was a teacher,” said Gabby.
According to Gabby, teachers have a place in her heart so whenever he is invited to Gabay Guro events, he shows appreciation to teachers. “And every time I see teachers sa Gabay Guro whenever I’m doing shows, nakikita ko yung mga teacher ko, I had tutors also, seeing that in their faces,” the actor said.
“They have a very soft spot in my heart. Every time I have a performance, the only thing I can give back to them is my presence there, hugging and treat them this time, he added”

When Gabby praised the teachers he seems pays tribute to his mother also because, according to her brother Mike Concepcion, the actor did not visit their mother in the hospital when she was ill and until it lost her life. Lourdes “Baby” Arellano Concepcion passed away on August 10 at the age of 79.
But when Gabby mentions her mother, it seems to be an indication of the actor’s love and appreciation for his parent who was upset, and passed away without seeing her at the last moment.
