PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (September 30)

LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the ‘habagat’ would bring cloudy skies and rains over some parts of the country.

On Wednesday (September 30, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The southwest monsoon and the localized thunderstorms would affect the country’s weather condition.

The southwest monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands and Occidental Mindoro.

The Habagat would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon. The localized thunderstorms are also expected to bring the same weather condition over the region of Mindanao.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over northern and central Luzon, entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands, and Occidental Mindoro would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
